Vigne del Pellagroso is a Certified Organic and Biodynamic vineyard and winery located in the rolling hills just south of Lake Garda. It was on this property in the early 1800s where Il Pellagrosso, an underground revolutionary pamphlet calling for social reform and workers' rights was written and stoked the flames leading to the first Italian War of Independence. Nowadays wife & husband vigneron team Sharom and Antonio have reinvigorated oft maligned varietals like Merlot and Pinot Grigio, and crafted unique skin contact white and short maceration reds, giving classic Lombardian varietals a fresh perspective.
