Our team, hailing from across the country, brings a wealth of experience from Fortune 500 companies, Michelin-starred restaurants, and diverse production and hospitality backgrounds. We are committed to creating a more inclusive industry and we are proud to partner with wineries driven by great people doing good for the planet.

Justin Paul Russell
Partner + Portfolio Manager + National Sales
Justin Paul Russell joined the team at Pangea Selections in 2022, coming from a broad and varied background throughout the wine industry in hospitality, production, and wholesale businesses. He worked the ground floor in wine retail for several years and over a decade working harvest in Oregon, seven of which were in service of his own winery, Jasper Sisco.
After his time in Oregon, he transitioned to a sales role for International Wine in Birmingham, Alabama, which reignited his interest in the wholesale and import side of the wine world. All of this experience was bolstered by working arm-in-arm in high profile fine dining restaurants in Oregon and Texas. Justin now seeks to marry these experiences by building an exciting and compelling view of the world of wine for Texas and beyond. Outside of work, you'll find him adventuring to a swimming hole with his partner and their dog, curled up with a book, or scheming an epic dinner.

Bailey McCarthy
Texas State Sales Manager
Bailey McCarthy comes to Pangea from artisan wine's culinary sister: cheese! Bailey is an ACS Certified Cheese Professional with experience in fine wine and cheese eventing and wholesale. Prior to that, Bailey was a Solutions Architect in the Austin SaaS industry, worked the dining scene in Seattle, and graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Bailey's love of wine derives from a sense of place and history. Where else than in natural wine can you experience a sensory throughline from the ancient Levantine to now, tasting the same flavors that have delighted and inspired humanity for a hundred generations. Bailey is excited to share the passion and mission behind Pangea Selections, ideally over a glass, anytime and anywhere.

Patrick Norton
San Antonio Account Manager
Originally from the Mojave Desert and San Diego, Patrick spent 20 years deeply involved in the music industry. He owned and operated a successful recording studio, producing artists across a wide range of genres. He moved to the San Antonio area in 2023 to be closer to family.
Patrick first fell in love with wine during a trip to France many years ago and has been working in the industry since arriving in Texas. He is passionate about sharing wines made with intention, from producers who respect land and culture while still pushing boundaries. When he is not making music or expanding his wine knowledge, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and watching documentaries with his cats.

Carly Stoy
Austin Account Manager
Carly Stoy is fresh off getting her hands dirty—quite literally—in the world of winemaking. Her journey began in Siena, Italy, where she first discovered wine as a calling while studying abroad. That spark turned into a full-blown passion during her time at The Austin Winery, where she interned while attending the University of Texas.

Since graduating last spring, Carly has followed the harvest seasons, working vintages in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and Australia’s Adelaide Hills. But after a whirlwind year of travel, Austin—and its vibrant wine scene—called her home. What draws Carly most to wine is the opportunity to act as a steward of the natural world, sharing an experience that connects people to place. She’s thrilled to bring that passion to Pangea, eager to grow, learn, and share exceptional producers with the Central Texas community.

Jensyn Hartzell
Austin + Hill Country Account Manager
Jensyn grew up in Pennsylvania, just north of Philadelphia (Go Eagles!), before attending college in Maryland, where she balanced a degree in business management with playing competitive volleyball. Her passion for wine first took root while working in some of the state’s most respected fine-dining seafood restaurants, and that passion evolved into a career upon moving to Austin. Jensyn has built a diverse background across the hospitality industry, working in wine bars, fine-dining service, and most recently as the marketing coordinator for Antonelli’s Cheese.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Jensyn is an active member of the Austin community. She is a dedicated athlete who spends her time running Lady Bird Lake Trail and competing in sand volleyball tournaments. In addition to local sports and running clubs, Jensyn builds community through the ATX Writing Club. A passionate reader and writer, her literary interests span fantasy, horror, and modern classics.

Alex Quevedo
Dallas + Ft Worth Account Manager
Alex is a Dallas native and has spent more than 15 years in the hospitality industry building a career rooted in service, community, and a deep appreciation for great wine. After years working in restaurants followed by several years in wine retail, Alex became a familiar face in the Dallas wine community, developing a strong understanding of what resonates both on the restaurant floor and on retail shelves.
As the Dallas–Fort Worth Account Manager for Pangea Selections, Alex brings a service-driven approach and a passion for wines that express a true sense of place. She is excited to represent Pangea’s portfolio of sustainably farmed producers while continuing to contribute to the growth and vibrancy of the North Texas wine scene.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys relaxing on a patio with a glass of wine alongside her partner, two dogs, and cat. When she’s not out in the market, you can likely find her at the Alamo Drafthouse catching the latest release or at home diving into a new TV series.

Brooklyn Pearson
Houston Account Manager
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brooklyn began her career as a chemical engineer. Drawn by a lifelong passion for food and wine and by how they spark conversation across languages and cultures, she decided to shift chemical gears into the wine world.
Brooklyn brings years of international experience in the wine trade to the Space City. She holds a diploma in Wine and Management from the University of Reims and Le Cordon Bleu Paris, and she refined her expertise managing cellar operations at the beloved Paris wine shop Cavewoman. During her time at Château Feely in the Dordogne, she discovered how powerful it is to connect people to the stories behind what they drink through community programming management.
Most recently at Paris Wine Company, Brooklyn combined her technical background with her creative side, designing tools that helped teams share those stories more effectively across global markets.

Allison Meyer
Houston Account Manager
Allison Meyer brings more than 25 years of restaurant experience to the Pangea team and worked on management teams at some of Houston and the Hill Country's most adored restaurants. Her love for the culinary world began early, inspired by time spent in the kitchen with her mother and grandmother—and by watching Julia Child long before she could reach the stovetop herself. Naturally curious, she’s energized by learning, hearing people’s stories, and discovering the creative ways guests and chefs alike “play with their food.”
Though she has spent much of her life in the Texas Hill Country, Allison loves exploring and taking full advantage of everything Houston has to offer. Beyond her passion for food and beverage, she enjoys art, music, nature, and quiet evenings at home reading with her cat by her side.

Phil Villanueva
Phil Villanueva has been working in wine fulfillment for 16 years across Texas and has been part of the Pangea team since 2022. When he isn't behind the wheel, Phil loves going to the movies and spending time with his grandkids.
