Chateau De Cranne

Château de Cranne has been a family wine property since 1856, on the highest banks of the Garonne in the southwest of Bordeaux in the town of Donzac spreading over 33ha. Vincent Lacoste, a 6th generation artisanal winemaker, obtained Organic farming certification in 2009. Donzac is mostly planted to white grapes, however Château de Cranne’s Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon balance classic Bordelais style with low intervention winemaking philosophy: fermentation on wild yeasts, no fining, no filtration, with very limited sulphites added just before bottling.
