The Garnier family represents the third generation of winegrowers. Their story began in 1950 when Jean Garnier purchased six hectares of vineyards in the communes of Saint Michel de Fronsac and Fronsac. The estate was leased from 1979 for a period of 18 years, until it was taken back under family management in January 1998 when Jean Garnier’s grandson, Jean Yves Millaire , and his wife, Christine, took back the land. After converting the vineyard to organic farming in 2006, they switched to Bio-Dynamics in 2009. Together they cultivate 47 hectares across three appellations: AOP Canon Fronsac, AOP Fronsac, and AOP Bordeaux.
