Elisa Guerin is a 2nd generation winemaker from Beaujolais. While she is based in Chenas, Elisa farms the Guerin family's holdings across Moulin-a-Vent and Chiroubles. She is converting these plots to regenerative farming practices with her adorable and aptly-named terrier, Gamay, always at her heels. In 2017 Elisa rented a small portion of Les Thorins' from the family's Moulin-A-vent holdings after the encouragement of the Folliards and Metras who she spent summers working alongside on her trips home from her studies in Agronomy. Elisa is the first in her family to pursue chemical free viticulture and natural production methods in the cellar, fermentations are all native yeast, all ageing is done in concrete and minimal sulfur additions are made. Her Father Phillipe is slowly handing over control of the myriad of family holdings to Elisa, a nod from the old school to the new that the kids are alright.
