Enoz (a play on the surname of owner Roberto Zeno) is located on the slopes of the extinct volcanic complex of Roccamonfina in Campania overlooking the Gulf of Gaeta. In 2013 Roberto decided to leave a corporate job in Naples to buy the masseria and renovate both the surrounding countryside and the housing structures that were practically in ruins. Today the property covers about 22 hectares of which 5 are dedicated to vineyards while the remainder are destined to olive groves, wheat and legumes. The vineyards of Primitivo, Fiano and Falanghina are Certified organic and practice biodynamic principles. The cellar has been created in a tuffa (limestone) cave and all the wines are aged in amphora. The resulting wines are fresh, joyful, expression that speak of this volcanic earth at the edge of sea.
