Resting at the heart of Collio in Oslavia village lies the heartbeat of the Klansjscek family. Their 3ha vinveyard has been formally organic since 2016, but has been practicing organic since the 70s. You'll find the sillouhette of Dejan's grandfather Mirko with his "slamnik" hat on his labels as an homage to not only family, but to the family tradition of making beautifully clean, articulated, and heart-driven wines that represent Collio in a loving way. From soil to vine, vine to press, press to bottle, and bottle to label and so on - there is minimal intervention, but intentional presentation and stabilization so that these wines are recieved in their exact intented purpose.
