LA River Wine Co.

This project is the combined effort of wine legends Abe Schoener and Rajat Parr, who have joined forces to revitalize century old vineyards just outside Los Angeles in Rancho Cucamonga. LA River is the actualization of the dream to explore the terroir of California’s most famous city, a place with historical but little modern winemaking footprint. Originally planted in the 1890s, these vineyards outside Los Angeles were built to service local missionaries and western pioneers, but became overgrown as the western boom became bust. Parr’s sommelier instincts combine with Schoener’s Napa winemaking experience to make for innovative and experimental wines, built to explore a singular expression and taste of place.
