Marc Delienne

Started in 2015 after Marc left a career of building banking software. After working four harvest with Domaine Trévallon, and spending a full year in the vines in 2012 he made the jump to become a winemaker in his own right. His first vintage in Beaujolais was 2014 in the cellar of Domaine De Fa (Alain Graillot). He has two hectares on the steep pink granite slopes at the peak of the Cru of Fleurie, the remaining twelve surround his home on the flat land of the Cru where a top layer of silt covers deep veins of pink granite. Average vine age forty to eighty years old. From the beginning he has worked organically and biodynamically. Marc often jokes that he is a young winemaker now 65 years old with no signs of slowing down.
