In 2016, Francesco and Pauline Pozzobon purchased an abandoned vineyard in Nizza Monferrato just to the south of Asti on a UNESCO heritage site and Tenuta Foresto was born. They have been meticulously restoring the vineyards which they farm organic and biodynamically. By dry farming and following the teachings of Fukuoka, a low impact permaculture ideology centered on farming leads to harmony with nature. These wines are full of energy and bring a playfulness to classic Piedmontese varietals such as barbera, dolcetto, moscato, and cortese.
