In 2016, Francesco and Pauline Pozzobon purchased an abandoned vineyard in Nizza Monferrato just to the south of Asti on a UNESCO heritage site and Tenuta Foresto was born. They have been meticulously restoring the vineyards which they farm organic and biodynamically. Further they are dry farmed and follow the teachings of Fukuoka: a low impact permaculture ideology centered on farming in harmony with nature. These wines are full of energy and bring a playfulness to classic Piedmontese varietals such as barbera, dolcetto, moscato, and cortese.
