Husband and wife team Jason And Emily Charles started Vinca Minor in 2013. Jason cut his teeth in the wine industry in New York's fine dining scene, worked abroad at Chateau Haut Goujon in Lalande de Pomerol, and then returned to California to work at a number of top estates in Napa. The idea behind Vinca MInor is to explore the intersection between farmer, winemaker and artist. While making top notch wines from across northern California, Mendocino Carignan has emerged as a passion project for Jason; and Vinca Minor is giving these grapes the world class recognition they deserve!
